The raffle held during the production raised £326 for Sketty & Killay Medical Centre, in memory of BATS patron Eilian James, who received exceptional care and comfort from the Centre's District Nurses during the latter stages of his life. Sadly, Mr James died in November 2007.
Synopsis
A comic tale of mistaken identity. A Portuguese time share villa has been double booked without the company representative, myopic tippler Commander "Chitto" Chittenden, knowing.
When Mary and Henry arrive shortly after Eve and Leslie, Chitto manages to remain unaware that there is more than one couple on the scene. The confusion is compounded when each couple mistakes the other for the servants.
Henry seems to have the upper hand when he discovers that Eve is married, but not to Leslie, when his mother-in-law arrives and he has to bribe the other couple to impersonate his alibi, Sir Piers and Lady Marchbanks. Girlfriend Mary has to play the servant, much to her annoyance, but it looks as though things might work out until the real Sir Piers arrives, followed by Henry's wife.
Hilarious disguises donned by Mary, Perky, Eve and Leslie might just save the day!

Welcome to our production of 'Holiday Snap'.
After performing in BATS productions for over 5 years I decided to venture out onto the other side of the stage. Directing was a scary prospect at first, but with such a wonderful, dedicated cast and production team it has turned out to be an amazing and enjoyable experience. 'Holiday Snap' is, I feel, a good old farce, a tale of comic predicament and mistaken identities with lashings of physical and slapstick humour.
I would like to thank the BATS members for all their efforts and support in making this production run smoothly. It has been a great deal of fun. I would particularly like to thank Alan Bailey and the stage team for all their hard work in assembling such a wonderful set.
